Oscilloscope Pictures, the film production company owned by Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, has acquired the rights to "Wendy and Lucy." The movie, directed by Kelly Reichardt, stars Michelle as a woman whose car breaks down while she's traveling to Alaska with her dog. It will be released at Gotham's Film Forum on December 10 and expand to other markets in early 2009.

Fox Home Entertainment has announced the DVD release of Deception starring Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor, and Michelle Williams. The erotic thriller will be released in the U.S. on September 23, 2008, and will sell for about $27.98. The movie will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extra features will include:
- Commentary with director Marcel Langenegger
- Two featurettes (Exposing Deception: The Making Of Deception, Club Sexy)
- Deleted scenes
A Blu-ray release with English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio will also be available for $39.98. Go to DVD Active for a sneak peek at the cover art.
